 The
fifth annual Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown will be held held
April 25-27, 2008, at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden,
Colo., minutes outside of Denver. This huge, three-day event is the
only pinball show in the Rocky Mountain region. Come celebrate our
5 year anniversary!
"The show brings together serious pinball collectors and people who love
to play the game," says Dan Nikolich, Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown
co-founder. "It's a group of fans who love the challenge of the
game, the varied themes and artwork, and the engineering of the game
design."
 At
the Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown, pinball fans play over 100 modern
and electromechanical pinball machines and video games set on free-play.
No Quarters Needed.
At this family-friendly event,
players can test their pinball skills in the multiple tournaments for
all skill levels and ages, buy and sell pinball machines, parts,
and memorabilia, and attend Pin Chats -- free pinball seminars.
The highlight of
Saturday night is the second annual PinBALL. From 7 p.m. 'till
close, the lights are out so players could enjoy favorite pinball
machines in full illuminated glory.
 Dan and Holly Nikolich are proud to make a
yearly donation to The Children's Hospital in Denver from the show
raffle and charity pinball machine proceeds.
The Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown Open
Tournament and Electro-Mechanical Tournaments are a sanctioned event in the
International Flipper Pinball Association tournament circuit, where
players can earn points to elevate his or her world ranking among
pinball players.
